Member of Technical Staff (MTS1)

Job Description:
Individual contributor of the System Integration test team testing enterprise server products within the Systems Group Division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Individual will be part of a team that is responsible for system-level testing of enterprise server products.
Responsibilities will include:
Test case development and execution
Storage, server, and system configuration
Test results analysis
Test automation implementation

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Other responsibilities may include the development of test processes to improve test efficiency.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Operating Systems knowledge such as Unix or Linux
Understanding of Software and Hardware development processes
Structured programming knowledge
Solid problem solving skills
Strong teamwork, communication, and initiative to learn a must

Desired Profile:
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
S/W or HW Test knowledge Basic System administration skills on UNIX (preferably Solaris or Linux) or Windows Operating Systems Experience in one or more scripting languages Database ? SQL scripting, DB administration

BS FIELD OF STUDY: CS, CIS, or CE
